My batteries are no good. I have a 36 volt cart. Can I run 3 12 volts instead of buying 6 6volt batteries?
I really dont want to spend $700 in batteries if I dont have to. Ive heard that you can burn up speed controllers and all that jazz. I dont care because I will be putting a 250cc honda 2stroke motor in it.:D :D
I just want it to run for a couple weekends. It may be ran for 10 hours at the most before I do the swap.
Thanks in advance.

Three 12's will give you approx 50% amp hour ratings of the batteries. It wont run very long....
2 stroke motor...hope you dont drive that thing around my house!!!
250 cc..it will be a turd, dont care about reverse?

Came out of a 89 250R Qaud. Reverse is an issue.
If I come along something better I will grab it..:) ...This 250 was free.
Anyways so do you think that would give me at least 3-4 hours of run time with the 12volts? I was thinking of just buying some cheapies at Walmart.

Dennis,
When I had an battery powered cart I replaced my batteries with Cosco 6 volt batteries and they lasted 4 years... You should be able to get 6 six volt batteries for about $350....
You going to be out this or next weekend?
Good luck!

$350 sounds reasonable.
I will be up Monday pm and Tuesday am.
