Looks so peaceful becuse the pics are around 7:00 pm they should have took them at noon sat. The beach was a zoo, Goose flats was not to bad.

We were at Goose pretty much from 8:30 till 3 then went down river for the memorial service at the first bridge,your right though,the beach did look pretty packed when we went by.

Not a bad week at blythe until sat with the jet skis. Almost got hit three times. Mayflower at the ramp sucked. China beach was a crap shoot if you would get hit by a ski or not. The boat cops where out but did not see them write any tickets to the jack a%# on the skis. Sun on China beach the Vietnamese were burn there trash on the beach the pile was almost 5' high and black smoke from all the plastic. On the flip side it was cool putting faces with names, Russo and his group. All the boats ran good and watched waxer dance on his bow. See you guys in four weeks.

Man, I miss that part of the river. I grew up on the south end by Martinez/Yuma and went north to McIntre in the mid 80's. Now I'm at Havasu :( . Someday I'll be down on the river again with something small and fast. :)

Which memorial service? Have a job interview tomorrow and if get the job will be heading to McIntyre in a few weeks.
We were at Goose pretty much from 8:30 till 3 then went down river for the memorial service at the first bridge,your right though,the beach did look pretty packed when we went by.

BASTARD...!!! :jawdrop: Salt in the wounds...:) Miss that place...started going there in the mid-70's...;)
Trees are bigger and more permanent housing, but the water is the same...:D

:) i first got hooked on boating and camping there 10 years ago...i friend took me...that was my first experience with the river and camping and i have never looked back since...i sold my first boat on the water at msintyre park on a memorial day weekend...kids were pissed :mad: and it took me three years to get another boat :sqeyes: (bigger and faster)....my family loved that place to bad were to big to go there now would love to spend a quite night there

Boy does that area brings back memories. I was raised their on the weekends. I think I might have been concieved there or Glamis. We were around Paradise Point and had a place at Shaggy Tree Ln. Just a kid though.
