Whats it look like?? Is it a top mount starter?? I have a bellhousing on mine that the starter mounts to. Could you have one fabbed??

Pat, if it is the "starter brace", it's GM part #354353. Should be less than $10 at the dealer.

Sorry, Pat, that was the number I was given several years ago. I have to shoot by my local dealer today, so I'll see if they can get me the right number. In looking at my engine, the brace should be about 3" long, right?

the one i got is about 6" long. its should be about 3" is right.

Pat, my guy didn't have one, but Winters Chevy in Antioch says they do. The part number he gave me is 3965588. Try whoever is local to you. $8. Sell the other one to Jethro. :)
