When we took a Mexico Cruise we met a group of workers from the Corvette plant in Bowling Green Klantucky on board the ship with us.
Genuine, Bible belt homespun nice peeps. Their heart is in the right place, the kinda people ya want building your car.
We've kept in touch, and hooked up with them when we visited the GM Corvette plant and National Corvette Museum last week.
We plan to order a new z06 when we return from vacation ( Hot Boater Jason at Selman gives the best deals BTW) and got to see them made.
The Corvette museum is open most every day at 8 AM.
Amazingly popular plce to visit. Some friends from our local Corvette & Harley clubs were there too.

Our 7 year old lifts a z06 chassis at the Corvette museum.

Lunch at RD's of course
We're considering factory delivery, but the roads surrounding Bowling green are all under massive renovation and we don't yet want to tear up the finish with stone damage.
A shop in town installs the 3M Lexan plastic coating front bra and rear stone guard, so we may still try the factory delivery.
Supposed to be a cool experience.
