View Full Version : One Step Closer to Amnesty

Taken from grassfire: "The Senate just rejected the will of the American people in voting 64-35 to "invoke cloture" on the motion to proceed with the Bush-Kennedy amnesty bill."
I've already called, emailed, and faxed the senators in Colorado. Not that it's going to make a difference... but it's better then crying about it and doing nothing at all.

Just emailed my Senators again...they both voted against it. Phucking politicians are hijacking the American public and don't give a shit.....

They did it by political maneuvering. The dem's control the floor and what can be debated. They promised the repubs and others time to debate their pet projects and issues for a yes vote. Democracy is controlled by special interests, power and corruption. They ignored the will of the people. The bastard sell outs should be hung from the roof of the white house.

think this over ....
On the subject of illegal immigration & the government's apparent
determination to grant legal status, if not full amnesty, to illegals, especially from
Mexico, I kept wondering why they would want to do this in light of the cost to
taxpayers, the national security threat it poses, the disease risk, the
criminal aspect, the strain on our already over extended welfare and Social Security
systems, and on and on. Not to mention the fact that the overwhelming
majority of American citizens are adamantly against it. I could understand Democrats
wanting to legalize them and thereby bolster their base by 12 to 20 million
voters dependent on the government for everything and thereby assuring their
continued power, but what's in it for the Republicans? I never put 2 & 2 together
until I read an article by William Kristol in the Weekly Standard yesterday
and the light finally came on.
Remember the I-69 Corridor that unelected government bureaucrats have been
secretly working on for the past several years? The super highway system
connecting Mexico, the United States and Canada, where truckloads of goods and heaven
knows what else can drive all the way to Kansas City before being inspected
by anyone, and then by corrupt foreign inspectors from the country of origin?
The corridor that will cause millions of acres of private land to be condemned
and thousands of people to be displaced? Ever heard of "Ameros", the proposed
currency of the new North American Free Trade Agreement or NAFTA, the
equivalent of "Euros"? Did you ever consider that NAFTA could turn into a European
Union type government to which our constitution and our sovereignty would be
subordinate? Can you imagine the wealth and power that our ruling elite would
stand to gain by combining our three countries, and even Central & South America
eventually? Can you believe that our politicians are corrupt enough to
perpetrate this treason on their own country? They are, and they're doing it right
now, in secret, and trying to pass it off as economic progress.
Where do the illegal immigrants come in? When it comes to a vote, which way
do you think they will vote? They have no allegiance to the United States, and
they want their piece of the American pie. Our pie. And they want it for free.
Our government has plans to give it to them for their own greedy purposes and
personal gain. It's a rollercoaster that may already be past stopping, but if
we value our country, our constitution and our way of life, we'd better try
to derail it by any means necessary, otherwise the American dream will be a
thing of the past.
