Bowl Hot?

Pulled out today after a couple hours cruising and noticed that the bottom of the bowl felt quite hot. Not the top, just the bottom of the bowl.
Is that normal?

Usually when hittin the pipe, the top of the bowl gets hot.:D

After the post, I noticed the "El Prosecutor" name. I then realized the bowl was probably not of the paraphernalia type.
