Bartlett this weekend

I broke the motor in today, and want to go out there and run it some more this weekend. Water was nice at bartlett today, and its up high enough for the ramp, and its not all muddy is SB cove so easy to launch. New motor sounds strong and is hitting 5,300 rpms with a passenger and full of gas, so not too bad:D

Shooting for SB cove right by the ramp. Bring your skis and a rope if you got one, and I will pull you behind the cruiser. My buddy is going to pull up my picklefork with a green explorer, and I am going to use his black F350 dually to pull the daycruiser up.

IMO you are going to get beat up at any lake here in the summer unless you go out on the weekdays. gotta make early morning and late evening runs. or just go out in the winter like i do, it's lotsa fun :D

Right now there's more horseshoe pit than lake. Plenty o places to toss the shoes. That's the beauty of Bartlett. You can back your boat and launch just about anywhere and there's your beach.

If you have 4 wheel drive or a buddy who can pull you out of the mud. I really like Bartlett and if the water was a bit higher I would be there every weekend.

Didnt need 4wd the last 2 times I was out there. The water is high enough now that the ground is hard. No more mud. You dont get beat up near as bad a pleasant. I can run all day in any of my boats, but hard to make full throttle passes sometimes when its busy. If you head out look for a blue and orange picklefork behind a green explorer and a white daycruiser behind a F350 dually. Probably be a maroon v-drive with us as well. Plenty of plasses to play shoes. Beach just about anywhere, and sandy beach is back so you can beach and swim.
