only cp i'd ever be interested in with a prop is a possible vdrive version;) no whacka's! the fuel usage between a big outboard and a big block isn't that big a difference;)

I had a buddy who had a "Predator" (same thing) with a 200 Merc on it. That boat hauled ass and was great on fuel economy. It did 80 mph.

If you are into outboards my opinion is it would be bad ass. Contact spdm on the forums, he used to build Predator gullwings and might be able to give you some insight to what makes them work. I would PM him so you dont have to wade through all the bullshit.

Scotten tried selling one a customer had backed out on for two years, he ditched the O/B, made it back to a jet and it sold quick.

The O/B converted to a jet was green, it was not an open bow when Scotten built it or sold it after the jet conversion. Might have been cut later. There's a green 02 19 for sale now that is most likely it as that was around the time this went down.

This boat was never a jet. It was built for an outboard and was an awsome boat. The original owner took impecable care of this boat and had it serviced twice every year. He sold it and I haven't seen it since. Very fun boat. Ran very strong and handled great. Good luck. Neil
