I putting a wash down system in my Partycat. I noticed on other Partycats that they put a switch in the hose box so you can turn the pump on/off without getting in the boat.
I'm putting the pump under the drivers seat area and hope to "T" off the supply hose to the front, back and center of the boat so we have water everywhere when needed.
The Manufacturer suggest running 12 guage wire if the runs are over 10 feet. My run to the front of the boat would be about 18 there and 18 back.
I'm thinking that it might be a little easier and cleaner if I put a 12v relay back near the pump and use some of the 14 or 16 guage wire that has the cover (almost looks like heat shrink tubing) to run to all the switches. Advantage uses this wire for all the lighting, blender, sink, etc and it looks cleaner and works well.
Any pros or cons to this setup?

Yes, it will be cleaner with the wrapped wire, but a 36' run with 12 ga. wire with a low amp draw water pump won't be a problem either. Your choice.
