The handwriting is on the wall, I'm gonna have to get down to ONE boat. Going thru a divorce and managed to keep my hot rod and all the boats. I've sold off the Lavey Craft Mod-V (outboard) and now must decide which one of these 3 boats to keep. They each have pro's and cons. '72 Sanger blown flat, '85 Sanger blown cruiser, '84 Silverwing twin-turbo SBC tunnel.
WHICH BOAT WOULD YOU KEEP? Jocko:confused:

Tuff decision!!!
For me, it would be between the two sangers. I'd probably keep the cruiser...but I am in the "cruiser" phase of my life. :D

As much as I love to haul azz....
I think you would have more fun mobing around in the cruiser...
more people, more comfortable, blair the stereo as the new hotties dance;)
What you don't believe in Naturally Aspirated motors or something? lol
ANd if you're giving any of them away I'd take them :)

I agree, I'm also in the cruiser phase. It's tough being old as hell aint it ? :D
Plus you can pile more bouncing titties in the cruiser than you can the other two. More titties is always a plus in my book.

Can you keep both the Sangers? The cruiser is definitely the better looking of the two and probably does pretty well as performance goes, but the Tony The Tiger in me says MASH THE GAS!!! I probably couldn't choose and would keep them both. It's really a coin toss to me.

Those are three really bitchin boats. What kind of $ are they worth? Just ballpark. I'm not asking what you have into them, because it looks like you have alot of time and money in them, what do you honestly think you can sell them for?

Sell them all and get yourself a nice cig or something else big, comfy, and bad ass.
Nothing says "WOMAN I don't need your stank ass anymore," like a big boat full of hot a$$ women. Not to mention the fact the bigger the ride the more women you can stuff in it (women wearing pasties, doing keg stands, dancing on stripper poles and getting down right wild).

That O thing always seems to throw you off.
Maybe if you spent less time taking in strays you might have more time to know about the O. :jawdrop: :D :jawdrop:

I would of kept the boat you sold. Still would be useless to me since I mostly boat in the Pacific Ocean. Did u ever think it might of been cheaper to keeper?:D :D

I am probably the only one who thinks he should keep the silverwing. that thing is a monster. The cruiser definitely is pretty though.

NO QUESTION!!!
Why even ask...keep the mini day cruiser!!! You can fit way more hoes in it now that you are single! and by the looks of that motor, you can mash it and have a blast as well!
Sell the other two and put the money in the bank!

Thanks everyone for the input! It seems the overwhelming vote goes for the Sanger cruiser. That is exactly what I was thinking as well. I've only had v-drives all my life until the Silverwing tunnel. That boat is awesome in a totally different way (it's nearly as fast as the flat....over 100mph), it will run very fast in any kind of water, but I'm just a v-drive guy.
The cruiser also has some history....I know the original owner (Antonini's from Lakeport) and I've raced against that boat several times. I've liked it's look for 20 years, so when it came up for sale in '05 (right after CFW event), I had to have it. I've since put the original Sanger engine cover and rear jumpseats back in so it now seats 7 people and still runs 90 mph.
As far as the other 2 boats, you will see them in the SPAM section within a few days for sale. Thanks again, Jocko

I'd keep the one that suits the type of boating I enjoy most.
DAH....That hit it on the head.
You wonder why a guy posts up this shit...do we really think he is gonna listen to us, if we all voted for one boat he is gonna keep and tell his friends that he made his decioion based on HB's input??? Yikes, Im gonna need another hit of crack....

I agree, good advise from Tom Brown.
Some people need popular reinforcement to make their decisions.
The rest of us don't....

Hey Big Dog,
Congratulations! This thread ALMOST died out without the usual dickhead (in this case---YOU) posting some negative put-down.
No, of course I'm not going to base my decision solely on HB forum posts. It was just a friendly thread to get some input from fellow hot boaters. Obviously, (based on your post) you're too dense to even understand this.
To all the rest of you........thanks again for your input! Jocko

Silverwing! The Sangers look really nice too, but the Silverwing looks sweet & is a bit different.
How does it ride? If you're going off the input of ***boat & are going to sell it, what's it worth?

If you are single, keep the Sanger. You will be meeting chicks very soon. Looks like your soon to be ex has screwed up. Remember, two things can never be fixed, Stupidity and Pussy.
