Being into all sorts of music I have learned to appreciate a wide range of styles ranging from Heavy Metal to Rap. Classical To Jazz.
I remember years ago Stanley Jordan and Al Di Meola at the top of their game as Jazz Guitarist.
This is the first I have heard of Andy Mckee (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cvar4ZsqsEo&mode=related&search=) <--click and Don Ross (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PsgKVkTVX_E) <--click Definately worth a listen.
Another one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbndgwfG22k&mode=related&search=)
Just thought I'd share.

That was some crazy talent. But I bet they couldn't play Stairway to Heaven! :D Makes me want to sell my guitar stuff and stick to drinking beer. I'm good at that.

I wish I was in the posistion to give it a home. I'm having to take part of my vacation money and fix my damn Heap (Jeep). What are you going to ask for it ? It's identical to mine with the exception of mine is single coil pickups.

Its a Fender swamp ash body, Fender '73 Tele thinline humbuckers, a Fender '62 reissue neck, custom routing for the pickups and custom pickguard. I have 2 other strats and just dont play it enough. I get nothing but compliments on it....but I need to "thin the herd". I'm going to put it up with a "buy it now" for $550.
My main axe is the '59 strat (3rd from left on bottom row)...its NOT a re-issue either....:D :D

CT , I like Al Di Meola Joe Pass and Satriani for jazz . Saw Jeff Beck in person at the Commodore a few years back , and I tell you he was as good as he is on records & CD's . I grew up on The Shadows , The Spotnicks , Ventures and so on , and play those mostly . Started practising Les Paul stuff
[ diffficult because of his multi trackings  ] in the early 60's .
I have a Guild Starfire IV with Bigsby tremolo . Django Reinhard's music is by far my favorite , especially with Stephane Grapelli .

Allright ! Definately some familiar names in the bunch. All excellemt musicians.
I cut my jazz teeth on groups like Weather Report, Spyro Jyra , Manheim Steamroller, and Flim and the BBs.
They are a little hard to find but If you can find any albums by Flimm & The BBs you wont be disappointed.
Lets see some pics of that Guild. ;)

CT , I'll post some pic later , cause it's on my home puter ;) It's a beauty !
Used to have a Super Twin Reverb tube amp [ heavy mother ] , but
replaced it with a smaller unit just to fool around with .I'm waiting to snatch a real Duesy from a friend of mine who's uncle [ ex local jazz musician] has a Gibson L7 . He's in an old age home in Scotland [ 95+ yrs old ] and he won't part with the Gibson till he dies . I'll take a picture of that one too . It's in OK shape , no case but the neck is straight , frets are OK and has a good sound .
