I have been searching for a good easy to assemble carport. I found one that is called a Hercules Canopy that is a 10x27. Sams Club has them for 278.00, but the shipping is about 130.00 which is a deal breaker. Does anyone know where to get something like this in the Phoenix or LHC area?

With the crackdown on non permitted car ports here in Havasu, and the notices for removal, people are giving them away left and right if you will disassemble and remove them from their property.

Wow I'd be more than happy to take a used one, let me know if you come across any.
10x20 is just a bit too small. I need to protect my baby from the sun:D

There has been a lot of freebies in the local paper's classifieds http://www.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?p=2650092#post2650092, and also in the White Sheet http://greenandwhitesheet.townnews.com/classifieds/eastern/.
Make sure you get a permit, or they will make you take it down.

I'll check on the permit requirement. Although I think I'll be ok since quite a few people in my neighborhood have them. I don't love in an HOA so I can even store my boat in my yard, albeit in the backyard.

this is the max Havasu will let you put up without a permit 10 x 20 or 200 sq ft total.....you still must abide by the rest of the set back rules...no less than 10' eve to eve if you encroach the rear 25' set back(yes you can build a detached structure into your rear set back), if the new structure is contained with all the set backs then it's 6' eve to eve... but 200 sqft or less (not exceeding the current roof line) is ok without a permit...at least thats how the rules are currently;) :D
