Just finished up our little project turning the SR-22 into a play boat, It's all done except for carpet in the front, Every part is pretty much a one off done in house. We've been slaving on this thing for the last couple months and it's finally done. Here is a link (http://www.***boat.com/forums/showthread.php?t=135706) to how the boat looked when we originally rigged it in 2001-2002, Nothing has changed under the surface.

Looks Great...Who made the Hatch..?
Me and Pops, he did all the glass, i did all the rest of the wood work and finish work to it. there is so much work in that thing you don't even want to know. it's made from 3 layers of 1/4" marine plywood laminated with mat and resin between the layers, we built a bending jig so when we laminated it together it would cure to match the crown of the boat. Then I brushed at least 12 maybe even closer to 15 or 20 coats of varnish over the next couple weeks one coat per day, wet sanding in between coats. It did come out really nice though, worth the extra effort to keep the wood exposed rather than to just make a hack hatch and cover it with trunk lining.

Wow! That boat is sick. The hatch hardware is through the roof. Looks like Arko did a nice job on the seats. We should try to hook up on the lake sometime so I can get a closer look.
Here is a few pics of the custom interior on my 22 Howard. We went for Ski/Lounge set up.

Yeah sturgis really does some nice work, if you ever see the boat on the lake don't hesitate to check it out, the owner is a really nice guy and good friend of ours. Your howard looks good, it's hard to beat the lounge seating for skiing and cruising, I'll keep an eye out for ya on mead.

It looks like you guys updated the Digital Dash. Where did you guys find it? Will it work with any EFI setup? Do you prefer it to "typical" guages? I really dig how clean the dash is with that setup.
Thanks
Justin

The dash is from a company called EFI technologies, it will only work with their computer and harness, It's all stuff that came from Brummett when he built the engine. It is alot easier to install than a set of gauges that's for sure, it plugs in with a predone harness :D . But the thing aint cheap I've been told.

I like the side bolsters on the seats; keeps one from bouncing so much. A superbly sano design.

That is completely sick. I love the hatch actuator mounts. I'm also diggin the hatch itself. Tons of attention to detail that is just outstanding on a "play boat". Makes me feel like a slacker for not getting more stuff done on my project. Did you save the program for the pop up light bezel? My brother has one on his boat with the cheesey plastic deal. It'd be nice to get him one in billet so he could PC it to match the rest of his boat. If you can/will pop them out for resale, shoot me a PM with pricing.

Turned it the old fashioned way on the manual lathe, There are probably a couple maybe 3 hours making one that way, by the time you setup the machine to cut thread etc. This aluminum one was easy compared to the last one we turned from stainless, I bet you could get the price down fairly well having them done on a cnc, There might be a good market for them.

I'll get some pics when the boat comes back, Made the racks on the waterjet.

Yep, it's down at Carsons right now, the little watch battery in the EFI box went dead and was causing some trouble with the dashboard and fuel map, it seems to be all worked out now, Linder and Brummett are going to run it friday morning at Castaic and make sure the thing's back in tune.

Hey Concept- This is Travis with the old red/white Schiada I brought in to you about a year and a half ago (Im Todds buddy). Well it was no small task but we restored the old girl girl and she is solid now. I did the following:
Brand new transom
Fresh 502 Big Block
Fresh Art Carr T-400 with reverse pattern
New Prop Shaft
New Rudder
New Fin
NeW Strut Bushings
New gauges
New steering wheel
Brand new wiring harness from L&L
New Plumbing from Sweet Performance
All New Hardware throughout
Custom Stereo and Bimni top
The boat hit the water late last year and the wife and kid and I have been enjoying boating up on mead with my parents and their '22. I took the boat the Schiada Notta Regatta back in June and it ran great.

You've set an incredible standard and one I hope to get close to with my '75 Hallet 21 project. Who did the upholstery and what's their contact info? Again, real, real nice!
