I'm headed to Saguaro this Sat. PM and Overkill and clan is meeting me there Sun. AM for his first day back on the lake in his boat since his bad traffic accident in March. Anyone else? Apache Lake this past weekend was great and not crowded. Unfortunately the restaurant was very short handed Sat. night. The food tasted great. We met many great peeps from Tucson as usual:D . Someone:devil: did swipe one pair of horseshoes from me at party cove  but left the others w/ my stakes:( .

1. What time the restaurant at the lake open?
2. How early in the AM should you get to the ramp in order to actually get on first thing without waiting until the fisherman get off at 10 - 11 AM?

The restaurant opens at 9AM.
As far as how early?... We launch at 5AM in the summer and load up and call it a day by 7:15AM. Of course we run old small stuff so once the wake boarders show up the water goes to crap. By 7:30 the ramp starts to go nuts with everyone showing up.
If you want to launch in the quiet get there before 7:30.

9AM is what I last experienced. Why so late? Looks like you guys have a cool little club there. I'll be in my 24' pontoon boat w/ red double bimini's and Overkill will show up about 7 AM on Sun. in his jet boat. A friend from work, John goes weekly will show up a bit later. He had some rather lovely pics from last weekend:sqeyes: :D

Hey Sid how ya been?,
We'll be happy following your Allison again..
We won't be out there this weekend as one of the crew is getting married down in Tucson but, more than likely we'll be out there the following Sunday, maybe we can meet up with you guy's in the Future.
We are about a month or so away from running the new boat..This one will be an Animal.. Should run in the mid to high 80's if it doesn't blow over first..

Hi Rvr.
Here are a couple of links to pic's and some videos we've made, We get accused of having too much FUN :D which we are, they are a lot of work as well. Building one takes about 6-8 month's @ 3 to 4 nights a week plus weekends. Most of the build pic's were lost when we shut a site down. Someday we'll get it back up.
Of all the boats the newest is 1963 (the red one and the 2 Fantasy Hydro's) The newest motor in the fleet is the 1978 Merc 150 on the orange one. Most of the 75 Hp. Scott / McCullouch's (as in Havasu Site 6 McCulloch) are 63 - 65's.

Looking good for me except my truck took a flying crap. Every time I look to sell it this happens. No matter, I can use my moms truck for the day. Where is your boat James? Is it ready?

I believe James and I are picking it up Sat. AM from Bergeron's done or not.
I hope to take my boat out Sat. PM and sleep on my boat. James' Dr. said he'd tow James' up but:idea: ??????????????????? Who knows:( I'll probably have to change my plans and tow it up myself and leave mine at home:confused:
Easier to manuever James anyway.:D

Ya Billy, Rob and I are in fact picking it up on Satruday Morning from Phils done or not. I called down there on Monday and was told it is back from the trailer shop, So at least that is all done. My wife doesn't get off on Sunday very offten, so we are taking advantage of being on the water.
We will be up there at 7am for sure at ramp #2. I will be calling my Doctor today to find out what our game plan is. I hope he makes it so I can put my big ice chest on Robs pontoooooon. So come hell or high water we will make it, see you then.

Whatever works for ya. I don't mind picking your boat and towing it out there if it would be easier for you guys. I wouldn't mind leaving mine home and DDing for the day. (That offer doesn't come around often).

Billy I might take you up on that offer. Just so Rob can bring his pontoon and carry all the big stuff. Are gonna bring Your girl (Pink Shocker)??

I see you all out there all the time. Looks like you guys take a beating without the rough water from the wake boats. Cant blame you for leaving so early. But you do look like your all having a great time.
I plan to be out there on Sunday too. I just penciled myself a day at the lake. I'll be there early and I'm gunna do breakfast there at the lakeshore @ 9am. Still cant figure out why they open so late for breakfast.
You'll know I'm there at if you see this from the restaurant

I'm going to try and get there EARLY (sunrise is 5:30AM), to get some early morning runs(still trying to learn to drive on the pad(normally have the family and 60mph is MAX for them)), will most likely get off the lake by 9AM...
If you see me, stop me and say hello.
Love the NEW twin, would be more than happy to follow "it" around...
I can ferry stuff back for any jetters, just not staying past 9AM...
later,
sid
