We are headed down to the bay to do some testing with the 625 Ilmor powered boat right now. If anyone is interested in coming and checking it out... drop me a line on my cell at (619) 823-5643. Should be fast and fun.
Have a couple of clients coming down to take rides in it, so it will be good to see people.
We will be launching from "Ski Beach" over on the island side off Ingraham.

Tomorrow morning... This is the last shakedown of the new drive before turning it over to Robert and Arlene.
I want to get a big number out of it, and the best place to do that this time of year is in the bay instead of Parker. I am hoping that this speedometer doesn't have enough room on it to measure properly... ;)
That said, it is still over 80 degrees here...

Sorry guys... just checking in...
I am packing up the boat to head for Havasu today and kind of cramming stuff together.
Boat ran really hard, but there just wasn't room to pin it. There was jet ski's everywhere, two lifeguard boats giving me the dirty looks rough water from boat chop and lots of wakeboarders/waterskiiers on the bay.
That said, it blips up to 90 absolutely instantly. We definitely need to play with the prop for higher speeds, but it will probably work really well at Havasu for the summer with this prop. I think it will run mid 90's with the 625 this weekend if I can get some space to run it for top speed. It definitely pulls harder than the 550 one we built, by a lot... and that one ran 93 on a cool morning.
I will check in when I hit parker.
Anyone from San Diego want to jam out to Havasu, turn around and drive back? :D

I am sure you will see Robert out there for the big day, but I am headed up today, dropping the boat off to Robert and turning around and headed home. We have a ton of work to do around here and we are playing catchup right now with some orders. I will be working this weekend it looks like...
