Ants

Anyone have a good referral for a good pest control guy in Santa Clarita. Tried all the crap at the local stores and nothing killing these bastards.

I use Hydrex. They come two times a month for $80 but I have a big yard. I have not seen an ant for years.

I have good luck with Terro Liquid Ant Bait EVERY time. I typically will go around the outside of the house and anywhere where I see ants, I will place a trap. They "supposedly" take it back to the nest and it kills the nest.

Tried something similar according to the people at Lowes and it didnt work.

I agree...nothing else worked for me either. A friend of mine told me "this stuff works" and I had the same thought as you did. :)
I tried it anyway and I was surprised that it worked as good as it did. Its worth a try for $6.00 for 6 of them.
Downside is it is sometimes hard to find. The home depot by me carries it this year, they didn't last year.

Getting a service will be the best thing you do. I tried all the remedies with no luck. Got an ant service three years ago and have not seen one of those lil fockers since. :D

We use Lloyds Pest Control. Best thing we ever did. I also tried everything. If you see 1 ant we call them and they come right out. Great service. The stuff they use has no smell, color and won't hurt any animals.

I actually have used Andro (or maybe Amdro?:) )for 7 years. It's the only bait on the market that I have found to work. Every time. You can get it at Home Depot. It will kill the colony.

Buy an ortho Sprayer and Malithion plus. Walk around with your hose and spray the perimeter of the house, then follow the cracks and seems of your cement. They will be gone in about 2 days. You won't see them for a while. I do this 3 times a year, and I never have ants.

Borrowed the sprayer and that stuff from my Dad and it didnt do anything. I think the ants were actually laughing at me when was spraying them.

Your ants came to my place yesterday.:devil: I had a freeking outbrake of epic proportions:eek: I Amdrosed them will see how it goes tonight. They are getting a little more active cause we finally may start getting some rain :)

Sorry for sending the ants to you. Those little bastards are even in our bed. The pest control people claim they are looking for water. If thats the case there is no darn water in my bed so get out.
