Sorry this is a bad pic, it was from my movie:jawdrop:
We have a waterfall running into another larger waterfall with a cave into a deep pool. It's really not as hard to build as they look.
We built all of ours just me, my father, and my brother in three months.
Used all real rocks too, no fake ones.

Just bought one of these for the little one (not my family in picture). Easy maintenance and folds up when she's done. Plus it's easy to transport. Pop the Viking BBQ next to it and your set:D :D :D :D :D
It depends on your budget. Money can buy you what you want. A friend of mine just dropped 75K on a pool with below ground eating area, swimup bar with waterfalls.

Just be sure you check out the pool company very good...My brother had one done and when they did the beach entry the guy was calling it a modified baja shelf and it had a step in it....Well the step was not supposed t be there and when he told the builder that he didn’t like it, the builder would not do anything to fix it...Well a year and a 1/2 later he finally wins the lawsuit and gets his pool finished....His pool is in Simi Valley so if anyone is going to build a pool out there PM so I can make sure you do not use this guy....Make sure you get refrences and you call them yourself without the builder there

That whole dealio is pretty incredible. I got word that at last count they had, are you ready for this, $350K in the pool alone. It was done by Mohave County Pools and has been in the works for I believe close to 2 yrs. You have to see the whole thing also cause it makes the turn and goes under the pagoda buildings. It also has a spa in the mountain as I remember. I'm sure it has to make some magazine covers, a little over built for the area but whatever. The owner has a security company in So Cal rumor has it.The house is another deal in itself!!!!! Just awesome!! NSF

What about putting the entire pool under an patio cover? I'm kicking around the idea of having a large (about 1300 sq ft) patio cover put in that would cover an out door living area that includes a kitchen, living room and pool. I'm not sure of what the codes are involved with putting a fixed cover over a pool but the celing should be about 8 foot. I've got the room, I might as well use it.

I thought the seats would be cool but not really used to much, seems most people like to move around. One thing i noticed when going to freinds for party's was not enough room in the shallow end for mingling and the deep end at a 30-40 year old crowd party not a lot of diving going on(unless everyone is shitty) so the deep end sits empty. So i figured i probaly wont do much diving our kids are older plus there not paying for the pool so i built it like this. The truth be told if we had young kids i would of put in a deep end slide and diving board.

I'll see if I can take some pic's and post then here later today if possible. In reality you have to see this in person to grasp the whole layout. It is without a doubt the most over the top pool I've ever seen, the faux rock work is incredible as is the whole house. When they have all the toys going (the misters on the mountain and the waterfalls out to the street side) it looks like Disneyland) It is on the corner of PaloVerde No. & HoneyBee below the 95 highway. As nice as all these other pics are of pools (I only wish i could have something as nice) they pale in comparision IMO. I would think that Mohave Pools would have a portfolio of this bad boy because it is extraordinary!! :chi: NSF

$400,000.00 pool, complete with grotto with jacuzzi, rope swing. The pool starts at the front of the house with a beach style entry. Then goes around the side of the house with a bridge to the grotto, with a vanishing edge along the side. It also has a swim up bar, with a 42' plasma, with a full on kitchen behind. this is all under an observation deck with a full view of the lake. the guy lives in LA and owns a video surveilance company.
