I said "thats it- 65". He said the the Coast Guard will no let anyone go ever 65, that was the law. Well I had to pass on that " high speed ride". Fishing was great. And the Ponderosa is gone.

What happened to the Ponderosa?
It was sold. From what we were told, they were not making any money. So they sold it to some tyfoon, oooop's tycoon. They are going to put a Casino on the land. I was there the last year it was open. The black smith that was there works here in Chandler at Raw Hide, by Firebird lake.

That's really funny. Yesterday we saw the "Tahoe Thunder" as they call it and passed them doing about 90 m.p.h. I couldn't help but think that when the people on it saw us pass them at 90 they realized it wasn't the fastest boat on Tahoe and felt they got ripped.:)

Actually water in Sand Harbor, Emerald Bay and other sandy coves isn't that bad. After 5 minutes it feels normal.
Stopped at Crush 29 tonight and they are going to work with us on reserving some of the patio. They asked that nobody bring a nitro car. The fumes are too hard on the eyes.
Hud make sure Barbie and all the girls are invited.:):)
I am off to L A to check on the new boat early in the morning.

Rent a house in the Tahoe Keys, if you can swing it. Not cheap but you get your own dock off the back of your house. I think there was a link posted in the Poker Run thread. Most houses are large and can handle two families easy to help offset the cost.

I appreciate your suggestion. That sounds like the way to go. This way you don't have to launch each morning. I will have to get some of my other boating families to join us.
Are there any restrictions on the lake? For instance top speed, noise, hours of use, etc.? Also, are there any public docks in front of the casinos, in case we wanted to stop by for a buffet lunch? :)
