I have heard a rumor that the cops have really been cracking down on the noise of boats on Havi. :( Anyone get hastled over the past couple of weekends?

Was there last weekend..!!
Saw some one getting popped at teh sand bar...was a total joke... Here's this guy with a bone stock boat and his enitire family on board ( kids , wife, etc..) getting a ticket in the current ... and a MAJOR hot rod cruises by at 100+ db's...
They were so lax,.... Seems to me they had the attitude,,, We'll get to them too !!! ... Just a matter of time (lol) ...
THE PROBLEM HERE IS REVENUE POLICING - PERIOD.

I didn't see or hear anything about that. The channel was kinda quiet for a change.

I've been to havi almost every weekend and they have not been hasseling people for noise. I guess it depends what mood they are in??

I bet it has to do with if your trying to be quiet. If you got open exh, i would worry, if you still loud but will mufflers and tips, I would say your chances are much better.

Attitude only helps after you get pulled over. Not sure how I'd fair from there. I have Imco exhaust but pipes are one piece that go thru the back transom so no tips. Water enters the at the tip on the outside of the boat. Is this legal in AZ:confused:

I think you'll be fine. I wouldn't worry about it any.

Have not been to Havasu in awhile, but growing up we had a jetboat with bassett headers, is this outta the questions these days as far as noise?
