 Hay I am trying to build a circle boat for the first time and would like to know. How do you connect the crankshaft nose to the drive shaft?

Have a machinist mill a 1/4" keyway over the old keyways, (leave part of the old one for the timing chain gear. Go to a place like Glenwood Marine and buy a hub, (front drive), for a 1350 Spicer 4 bolt pattern. You will need a hardened 1/4 inch keyway also. Or go to Paul Phaff in Huntington Beach and have them do everything.

I always cut another keyway 180* from the existing one. And in doing so I can leave the 3/16ths factory one in place and cut another 3/16ths.....Dual 3/16ths, and there is less material removed from any one spot. When you order the drive hub be sure to specify internal or external balance.....MP
