I had the pleasure of cruising through Nordic on Monday and was very impressed to see the 35' cat coming along nicely.
To catch some of you up, the bottom was licensed by Skater and then Nordic is tooling up their own top deck. It has no center pod. It is currently 34' 10" as it has a bit of a "swim step" on the back giving it some added length. It is not a true swim step, but as I am told it sits very close to the water and I know you could fit one butt on it in the center.
The boat also has a full polycarbonate windshield that looked to be close to 1" thick. The top deck is still in it's wood and resin "plug" form but the boat has been on the water with some very nice results. I know they are playing with balance on the boat right now.
Looking at the boat on the trailer it has some really sexy lines. Long and sleek. I think this will be a really great boat for them and I think a great alternative to some of the other options out there.
If you have a chance stop by Nordic and take a look for yourself. The boat is scheduled to be done by LA next year.
Unfortunately I forgot my camera. Sorry.

I've seen the boat, looks killer! If it runs like it looks it will be a winner.

I believe the test boat has 700 Merc's in it too ;)
As soon as my endorsement check comes in from Powerade and my shoe deal gets finalized I am ordering two of them!

Similar. Same full wrap windshield.
Was hard to tell as it was all wood, bondo and resin. But the lines were definitely sleek and sexy!

I'll second that, they looked very very close in style. It did look good, even with bondo and resin........

Saw them launching at Windsor for some water testing Fathers Day weekend. Looked like Merc 1075 SC's hiding under the hatch but I could be wrong.

Unless they were switching stuff out it had 700s in it when I saw it.
Either way, I'll take two!

I DIG IT !

someone go by Nordic this weekend.
It was sitting right in the middle of their shop. You can't really miss a giant 35' brown bondo'd cat!

What's going on at Nordic?
I read that Lonny is no longer there.
