As it stands on the updates, Dave Bryant is 2nd behind Villwock in qualifing. There will be more attempts i'm sure but he's doing a bang up job so far. This course is pretty cool because you go under a bridge turn and come back under...and them concrete piers sticking out of the water i'm sure look HUGE at 160-170mph plus.
Villwock- 158.027mph average
Bryant- 1st lap 147.449, 2nd lap 149.310 3rd lap 150.310mph
couple others right behind at 149 and change.
Great job U-10!

How cool is that! I'm going to have to tag along one of these races and tape some of the fun.

Are you sure you can get that big sum gun Matt Gregory in full frame and still tell that there is boat in the background? :D

Hey guys... Quick report...We watched tree stumps, logs and even a refrigerator float down the river!!! Not one boat touched the water today. Should be a very interesting day tomorrow! Only four boats make the front line in the final, so it should be a fight!!
Dave is doing great... The plan is to stay out of trouble and be consistent tomorrow.

I grew up watching them on the mighty Ohio. They are pretty cool and all but I donno. I say Long Beach with a full field of super stocks is the best racing I've ever seen. I could see why they would pluck a driver out of there.
I wonder when Guru will end up in one of those?

We were down in Madison all weekend and got some great pics and a couple of short video clips I shot with my digital camera. Most of the pics are on my girlfriends laptop and the poor girl had to go to work today so I will post them later.
