biesmeyer jet

I am a v-drive guy but thought I would jump over here for some advise...I have a guy that wants to sell me his biesmeyer on a dual axel trailer with no engine. It has a berkeley pump that I know works fine he just blew the engine up last season. It is a solid hull, paint is a bit faded. I wish it was a v-drive k boat...Well I can pick it up in the morning for 500.00...pretty cheap I think......Any advise out there:confused: ????

get pics ... shoot the trailer is probably worth double that if it's in fair condition, the pump too if is good as well ...
Just use your head ... you should know if it's a good deal or not.
I'm sure it can't be that bad ...
