Anybody have a recommendation? I live in the bay area. The fiberglass/gelcoat looks like it is falling apart at the lower outer portion of the passenger sponson, right by the cavatation plate.I'll try to post some pictures.I can't figure out what could've caused it. Any ideas? Thanks

it was a Friday but we left SM at 2pm to beat the rough stuff. We were going to Vegas and figured we'd be able to make it by midnight. It was 6am when we finally rolled into Hendersen.
I told my kids, "If I ever hear you ask "are we there yet" again, I will toss you out the window" :D
sorry for the hi-jack

yea, I've seen some of Jim's work and it is very top notch! A friend of mine is bringing his boat over to Ace next week.

Absolutely, without a doubt---Jeff @ Smooth as Glass! We hauled our boat up there from Castaic (with kids in tow :jawdrop:) and I think our haul time was 5-6 hours....can't remember. All I can say is you will not be disappointed and it's worth whatever your drive time is ;) !!

Gets my recommendation. Jeff and his crew are great to work with and produce very nice work. I had them do a complete re-gel on the bottom of my sled and it came out great. Couldn't be happier.
Good luck!

I agree that you can't go wrong with Smooth as Glass. I dropped my Carrera off there last Thursday to fix some gouges that I put in the bottom at Shasta. It took me 2 hours to get to Gilroy (going south on I-5 to 152 to 101).

Jeff is the best, quality control second to none, with an honest work ethic.
By the way I drive from Hayward to Merced (45min past Riverbank) everyday for the last year, it takes 2.25 in the AM (7-9) and 2.5 PM (5-7) Take 132 and stay off of 205!:D

How about a tequila and vodka sundae to go with that? Oh and by the way...Jeff is the best in the business!!!!
