I'm waiting on my crew to send me the pics AND full video, and will post it as soon as I have it.
We were headed upriver Thursday evening to wakeboard by the dam and came accross a tan subruban sunk to the roof, jack-knifed against it's trailer with the boat still attached. This was at the northern most campground on the Cali side after the last left turn heading to the dam. The Suburban/trailer/ and boat had come to rest against a little rock jetti about 75 yards south of the launch ramp. All I could see at first was a 19-20ft Gayliner type bowrider ass up on some rocks. I thought the boat had just come unanchored and drifted there until I saw the roof rack on the burban andf the trailer still under the boat LOL:D
we watched for almost an hour as the divers cut the tie down straps on the boat which were never undone, and then dragged the burban and trailer out of the water and up the beach.
I promise to post pics as soon as I have them.
To all you fockers I haven't seen in awhile... Hi:)

lol I saw some pictures. It was at sunshine and the pictures showed the truck pointing out to the river with the boat closer to the ramp. Stupid. Apparently the boat was still strapped to the trailer.

We were about 20 feet down river from the launch ramp on a raft when the suburban went into the river. The driver wasn't staying at sunshine was just using the ramp. He went to step out of the suburban while it was still in reverse. The door knocked him over, the trailer jack knifed knocking out the rear driver side window and the whole thing went into the water. I swam over to try and unhook the boat but not only was the wench still attatched but there was a chain hooked to the front and the rear tie downs were still on. The guy tried to climb back into the truck, as we pulled him out we found out quickly that he didn't know how to swim so we drug him to the shore. The suburban and the trailer were stoped from going further down river by a small jetty. The suburbans top was a good 3-4 feet under water. I hooked a chain around the trailer and secured it to the jetty and we offered to cut the boat loose and drag the suburban and trailer out with some of the heavy equipment at the resort. But the guy refused so we called the tow company in, and the tow company brought the dive team in. The dive team pulled their boat up onto the shore and after finishing the job realized their boat was 3-5 feet out of the water. after taking lots of pictures we were able to drag their boat back into the water for them. Needless to say the whole resort just pulled up the ice chests and chairs and watched the circus. I've got lots of pictures, but won't be able to post for a couple of days.

Nice job helping the clueless. I can't believe he refused help and forked over big dollars to save something now worthless.
