You will are sadly missed Summer Luvin'. May the grass be always soft and green and no fences to keep you from running. I hope you find the endless supply of tennis balls and bones. Give Cinder a nudge for us. We love you.

Sorry for your loss. She looks like she had a good life and a loving family. What more can a dog ask for.

So sorry for your loss...We had to put my dog Marina down last nite. My wife and I are having a hard time with it today. 12 years isn't long enough. :(

Sorry to hear she couldn't be saved. We had to have the family Lab put down several months back and it was very hard.
Seems like the Lord just wasn't thinking when he only gave man's best friends such short lives.:(
She'll find a lot of good friends to romp with in "Doggy Heaven"....

I just saw your other thread and i loved the picture of Summer in the back of the pickup with her lips flapping in the wind. So I sent the picture to a friend. She said what a happy dog. Then i saw the thread that she pasted away. It brought a tear to my eyes and i totally feel for your loss. I know she was loved greatly and will be missed even more. RIP Summer.

Our dogs have always been an integral part of the family. In a tangible way, the glue that held and kept the family close.
Never one passed that tears did not flow abundantly.
Never one passed that did leave a lasting big hole.
A new dog, in time, has relieved the pain to some small extent.
Each one had to 'fill the shoes' of the last. Seemingly impossible each time. It happened. It happened three out of three times.
Our sincere condolences, Tab and Bill
Mike and Teri T.
