I just got these put on the new E-ticket. Here are some pics of them. What do you think? It's a different look than the stainless ones, but I think they are pretty cool. :) Oh, and they are still functional meaning you can still get to all the fluid tops.

They look good Matt. Where did you get them and how much?
I got them direct from E-ticket. They were $327 each. I am sure you could buy them directly from Larry. I haven't seen them anywhere else. He could be making them for all I know, he makes everything else. Call him if you are interested.

One of the vendors had them at the boat show. Can't remember if it was Dana, Eddie or CP. The price I was quoted at the show was $500 or $550.

I think maybe they need a K&N filter. Does it really make a difference at all though? I have one on the other boat.

I think they look good but I honestly think they don't do your boat or engine compartment justice.
I have looked at pictures of your boat and don't recall anyother Carbon fiber peices?
Like I said I think they look good and would work great but I would love to see your boat with some of the plain Boat Bling covers. The ones without the louvers or flames custom painted to match your boat would look sick!!(Similar to the Ultra ones I have seen)
Maybe a cheaper route would be adding some blue and white paint to the Carbon Fiber covers? (Perhaps a E-Ticket Logo) :)

Not because the K&N will flow more air, that's just not possible. Look through your flame arrestor and see the daylight. PLENTY of air gets through there.
HOWEVER, also what goes through those big ass holes is belt dust and other debris in the 100 to 250 micron range. Belt dust is the first offendor. Mix rubber dust with fuel and warm it up, you could use that to patch cracks in your asphault. :2purples:
Less likely but still very true, hink about a sandy towel in the engine compartment! Or your girfriend's sandy Flip-Flops, etc.
Believe it. You want filtered air in your engine. Would you drive your truck with that flame arrestor installed instead of an air cleaner assembly?
All that and I don't even work for K&N! :)

Actually when you get to take a closer look at my interior all the blue and gray looks like carbon fiber so it does keep with the theme. :D
This pic doesn't really show it but it is weaved like carbon fiber.
