its a ton of work i got boared waiting on parts for the jet so i started sanding and ended up repainting the thing too , it started a small task of taking the panther out and having it rebuilt , and it snowballed into that but im glad i did it

great job! It's real good to see someone take the time to do the
conversion the right way to reap all the benefits from it :)

 I`m kinda lost at the glass work? But it looks like it came out ok, just hope it`s strong enough to hold over time.
BTW ...you might want to support the sides of that ride plate with some angle ;)

thanks you all i love it so far , and i dident show pics of it but i layed 3 layers of woven roving over the top of all the glass work to tie everything in together , from the stringers to the intake to make it extra strong , i overkilled but better safe than sorry plus it makes the whole thing look alot better and even

Where do you get the new transom cover at?

Nice job!
A good rule of thumb,....when laminating a critical area like where your pump rests in the hull, you should always (Most every repair) go over the top of the lam. with a 1.5/3oz. cloth for reason of being able to remove excessive resin in the laminant!
More resin becomes brittle. (Cracks)
too little resin becomes, too flexible. (cracks)
Kinda wanna be right in the middle...
Just keep an eye out for any cracking, beat the shit out of it the first few times out, but check it after every use!
Nice to see others getting their hands sticky!

Where do you get the new transom cover at?
i made the plate out of 3/16 all. as for the glass job i have a ton of cloth laid into the cut out areas , making sure to overlap the pieces until i reached the thickness of the existing bottom , i then laid more matt over the new glass tying it into the existing bottom on the sides , then after it all set up i ground it down to get a workable surface and layed 3 layers of woven roving over the entire thing clear up to the stringers to tie the entire bottom together as well as in front of the intake i think i did a strong and fairly attractive job , strong being more important than pretty i then used marine tex to fill the gaps arround the intake and cover the screws and i have been beating the hell out of it and checking the bottom often to look for cracks i actually found one but it is from when the jet hit the ground while on the trailer and it is just superficial i will grind it back and fill it in the future thanks again for your comments and i look forward to hearing more and any suggestions are always welcome this is my first time with something this big thanks again billy

sorry about the sentence, and the bottom is flatter in the middle than it looks in the pic, I think thats what your talking about, from about the middle it has two lift lines that are pretty close to one another, they just have a little curve between them . is that bad ?
