Yes I have, pretty interesting. I read Sonny Barger's book as well. It is nice to see things from different perspectives. I have never understood the gang culture but it has always fascinated me.

Sonny used to have his motorcycle shop a few miles from my house. He closed it down and now hangs out at another one just up the road. It's an interesting lifestyle to say the least.
They just had the City of Phoenix buy them out of a house that was siezed over in the North Phoenix/Sunnyslope area. Was the Cave Creek chapter's clubhouse I believe. The news was all over it, interviewing a bunch of neighbors and they were all sad to see them go. Said they felt that their neighborhood was incredibly safe with the clubhouse there.
Much like one of my college professors who grew up in John Gotti's neighborhood I suppose. :D

As you know, my bachelor pad was close to Cave Creek Rd on the mountain. I do know that not much happened in our neighborhood without their ok. They took care of business. And I did feel safer with them around.

Red punch, white cookies??? The Angels are LDS???
I've got a red and white shirt that I wore to a family function. Grandma asked if I'm just a big fan of those colors. :D :D :D
Then there was the I love strippers shirt, and Grandpa thought it had to do with fishing, as it striped bass... :D :D :D

Bargers books are very good reading:
http://sonnybarger.com/index3.html
or they are available at Borders.
I know a few 81's through my work, they were co-workers.
Got some interesting stories about working with them.
