I'll be there fri night w/ the family and some friends. Fri is usually the day I go b/c I love watching the nitro burn off the headers @ night, and have since I was kid going w/ my uncle and his nitro funny car team back in the day. It's also nice b/c quite often you acn find the drivers in their souviner trailes willing to sign autograph's, and the kids love that. Who ever is there we should plan to meet up and have a beer or something.

I wanted to go, but its our anniversary weekend and my husband planned a Tahoe trip (as a surprise, which he has never done before) so, I didn't want to hurt his feelings, trying to be romantic and all. I think he would rather go to the races, too, but there's always next year! Have fun everyone!

Casey, I have a five gallon jug in the shop if you want to sniff nitro...still go in there in the weekends to take a hit...I might have took this year off but I still Have the itch....:D :idea:

I can smell it already. My 2 little ones are so excited. "Daddy, when are we going to have to cover our ears and see the funny cars?" They are pumped! I love the night session.

My wife and I will be at Tahoe, staying in the Keys, from 7-30 to 8-6, PM me if you would like to go for a ride on the lake. One of our favorite spots, go for a week every year.
