I heard they have cirle boats at Shadow Cliffs in pleasanton around October???? Does anyone have any info? :confused: 058?? Stab???

i went to it last year,,and it was way cool.i would like to know when it is going on,and would like to see it again..maybe some beer and a bbq is in order????

they have a nice picnic area,and you can sit right by the water,,last year,not only did they have boats but they had mini hydros and mini flatbottoms.and if i remember right it was only like 6 bucks to watch...yea and there was some flips and rollovers also...which add excitement....

This is one of those events I've been trying to get to for several years. According to the schedule at www.apba.org (http://www.apba.org) they are running on Oct 12-13.

The circle races at Shadow Cliffs in PLeasanton are all outboard classes except for the Crackerboxes. That alone is worth going to watch. Some of the outboards are pretty wild to watch but most are somewhat boring... Let me know if you are going and we'll hook up...

Yeah, Saturday sounds good. I will probably go Sunday as well. They run the Crackers after all of the classes of outboards run because they churn up the water pretty bad. They will run their first heat at around 11:00 am. They break for lunch, run all the OB's again so the second CB heat is around 3:00pm. Same on Sunday... I plan to get there at 10:00 on Saturday.
