Where is a good place to have my turbo 400 gone thru here in socal?

Can't help you in SoCal but I do a good one in the Bay Area. What do you want to do to it? You might consider buying a rebuilt one with yours as trade in. Sometimes that's less expensive.

Where is a good place to have my turbo 400 gone thru here in socal?I don't know if he does trannys specifically for boats, but Mike at the Toy Shop in Pomona is the only place I'd go for any GM auto tranny or rear end work. He just took care of our Suburban for a fraction of what others wanted.

Before you spend alot of money in a shop, be aware that a B&M built trans is less than a grand outright from PAW or Summitt. If the trans was ok when last used, you could simply install a B&M manualpack kit, put it in your boat and rocknroll! Regardless of what others may say a torque convertor will work just fine in a boat!
