Tempting, but rumor has it that my IMCO shortie lowers are going on this week and then some lake testing, then a 1" spacer and then more lake testing.

Then you should put 1 1/2" spacers on for more testing.
Then you should put 3" shorties on with 1 1/2" spacers on for more testing.
Then you should put 1/2" spacers on and do some more testing.
Then you should put the 2" shorties back on, but with 3" spacers for more testing.
Make sure your weather, water, and fuel load conditions are identical for all the tests.
Or...you could put the damn 2" shorties on, go to Catalina, and call it a day.

Would be a better setup in the new 39' GT which is a bit longer and allows you to run staggered !! Still very nice and probably fast :supp:

I did the lunch run last year and would do it this but my boat is getting detail and touch up done at GT, I'll be out the next weekend. It was a fun run, more boats then I thought would go for a cold winter day with 5' Plus swells.
