Went to Madison Indiana last weekend to watch the hydros un on the Ohio river. Had a great time, got some great pics too. Also some video of the event and Evansville from the week before.:D

Any more pics of Miss Madison? Isn't that the boat they made the movie about?

It's not the same boat, but it's the same town and team from the movie. This boat is the current Miss Madison.

It's about three weeks old, and as you can see is heavily sponsored by Oberto. It's still community owned by the citizens of the town of Madison. Also, it flat hauls ass for a brand new boat that isn't dialed in yet.

Prior to three weeks ago they had been running a different hull as the "Miss Madison" since 1988. Oberto has been sponsoring them for the last several years. Neither of those hulls is the one at the gas station in the picture. I'm not sure what the story on that hull is.
This is the famous 1971 Gold cup winning "Miss Madison" they made the movie about.

Wow that really sucks. I never saw that it was torn up that bad from where we were at.
Didn't realize you were Dave Bryant until I read some other threads. Very cool. Great job out there too. In case you couldn't tell, I'm a Madison/Steve David fan, but very cool that somebody from HB is driving the Ahern ride. Did a good job of changing the minds of a lot of fans on the shoreline who were expecting the rookie to suck. Now I guess I have somebody else to root for. Best of luck in tri-cities.

Thanks! It was a lot of fun running in Madison, the whole town is really behind the racing and of course Steve David in the O'boy Oberta. It was great to see him do so well at his home track. I have a long ways to go to be able to run with guys like Steve but we will keep working on it a little each race.;)
