Weather was great, the jetskiers sucked, Rivertard kicks ass! Ralph, you rock! Goad, (whatever that means:messedup:) thanks for occasionally walking over to the point and keepin me company. I can't wait to see Kate's (sp) pics @ SoCalJetboats.com. Omar, your boat still looks like a 50/50 bar.:D
Nice to meet Big Doug, GQChris, Dave, MDunn, Brian, Darrin, Dia, uhhhh hell, theres no way I'm going to remember every ones name (early stages of senility) so I apologize for that but nice meeting you all anyway.

Dont get me started on this jack@ss here on the Jetski! He was public enemy number one! Check out the kid like 5 years old, he was driving the thing solo most of the weekend. Him and his "Dad", the ideal roll model, continued to wake the boats, until we finally adjusted him Saturday. What were you saying to him in the pic Dozzr! That is classic! You made me laugh out loud with the Deliverance name. In fact, thats going to be his new name... :D
I called both of them after reading this and they were just finishing the paperwork on it. "Acceptance" (see below pic) told me it was another flawless recovery and the boat doesn't have a scratch. :)

Nate, I'm glad to see you got your boat up and running again. That is one cool looking 455 you got yourself there.
Can't wait to get my boat in running condition and head back out. Most likely it will be local stuff for me but I may have one or two more river trips in me as long as I can get my boat puffin.
Heres the pics I snapped, I thought I took more but there was a lot of un-usable photos there. Guess thats what happens when you take beer and a camera and try to make em work.
It was good meeting up with everybody this weekend. I really enjoyed making some new friends and looking forward to when we can all get together again.

What a killer weekend! We had a blast meeting everyone and boating with everybody. I just remember waking up to the sound of some fire alarm @ 5:30am...(pissed me off but it was time to get up and get going anyway.)
Everybody was really cool, no hot heads in the bunch! Doug, Mike, Brian, Omar, alot of names I can't think of, It was cool to meet ALL of you guys and hang out...Rivertard...we liked the story of the seadoo guy who said YOU splashed him, still laughing over that one!
LuckyDaze- Brian sorry your Miller didn't make it out, but thanks for coming out and not taking a picture of my motor after I put all the silicone over it.

Did you have a problem in Barstow on the way home??
Hmmm... I wonder who you are? :o I have a sister that lives in Bakersfield...
The boat trailer (tandem), oh yes, the trailer... I lost tread on one tire about 23 miles away from the AVI on the way there, about 3 miles away the tire blew, when I got there (I kept driving, purposely), there were two "rubber bands" with really cool rubber strings on the rim. Sunday I went to Big O Tire and they were closed until Monday, I went to Wal Mart and they didn't have 1 - not 1 - 14" tire! I met up with Ralph and he let me use his bottle jack (stupid assssed me forgot I have a bottle jack in my truck!) and Bo let me use his spare! Anyway... about 25 miles or so after leaving the AVI I lost tread on another tire... I ratchet strapped that tire up before it blew, I also deflated the tire quote a bit as well... about 50, yes 50, miles later the strap broke, I re-straped the axle up, about 10 miles later I started seeing rubber fly again, this time tire number 3 is losing rubber , so now I've got one tire losing rubber, one tire completely shredded (in the back of the truck bed), one tire that has lost ALL of it's tread and it's axle is straped up, holy flockin sh!t, now I'm crapping my shorts... every little town I'm stopping at and no one has tires, then the strapped up tire blows about 3 miles from Barstow, now it's on Bo's spare, one tire that's blown with it's axle strapped up, another tire rapidly losing tread, and my own last good tire, I made it to Barstow, and I paid $483 for four new tires because, well do I really have to explain why I bought new tires?
So, if you're not rolling on the floor yet... :D ... I've got 13 ( ! ) tires in my backyard with wheels attached that all fit that trailer AND I didn't bring one of them with me. WTF? :o :D Live and learn!

I just wanted to thank DOZZR for helpin me out Saturday morning with the canopys...I had a lot to carry and people we beating us down there...I tried my best to claim as much real estate as possible. My biggest mistake was not getting there before that huge family reunion with the 40 kids and 3 seadoo's. I was out there at 530am and they had already claimed it all. :mad:

Hmmm... I wonder who you are? :o I have a sister that lives in Bakersfield...
The boat trailer (tandem), oh yes, the trailer... I lost tread on one tire about 23 miles away from the AVI on the way there, about 3 miles away the tire blew, when I got there (I kept driving, purposely), there were two "rubber bands" with really cool rubber strings on the rim. Sunday I went to Big O Tire and they were closed until Monday, I went to Wal Mart and they didn't have 1 - not 1 - 14" tire! I met up with Ralph and he let me use his bottle jack (stupid assssed me forgot I have a bottle jack in my truck!) and Bo let me use his spare! Anyway... about 25 miles or so after leaving the AVI I lost tread on another tire... I ratchet strapped that tire up before it blew, I also deflated the tire quote a bit as well... about 50, yes 50, miles later the strap broke, I re-straped the axle up, about 10 miles later I started seeing rubber fly again, this time tire number 3 is losing rubber , so now I've got one tire losing rubber, one tire completely shredded (in the back of the truck bed), one tire that has lost ALL of it's tread and it's axle is straped up, holy flockin sh!t, now I'm crapping my shorts... every little town I'm stopping at and no one has tires, then the strapped up tire blows about 3 miles from Barstow, now it's on Bo's spare, one tire that's blown with it's axle strapped up, another tire rapidly losing tread, and my own last good tire, I made it to Barstow, and I paid $483 for four new tires because, well do I really have to explain why I bought new tires?
So, if you're not rolling on the floor yet... :D ... I've got 13 ( ! ) tires in my backyard with wheels attached that all fit that trailer AND I didn't bring one of them with me. WTF? :o :D Live and learn!

A jet ski and my boat collided on Saturday. Idiot jet ski driver did a u-turn right into the front of my boat. I had Goad and his G/F in my boat as well. Idiot jet ski driver had a little girl, maybe 8 years old, on the back of his ski. He took off, never slowed down, never asked the little girl (or anyone in my boat) if she was OK.
In all, I had one collision and three near misses with jet ski's. I think one of the ski-er's did it on purpose, he looked like this :D the whole time.
I want the river in front of the AVI renamed to Sea Doo Bay, they were everywhere. Right before I loaded up my boat on Sunday there were maybe 6 or 7 ski's all doing circles in front of the launch ramp. WTF?? So I decided to do close-up-and-personal circles around them in my boat. They all looked at me like this :confused:
What a bunch of idiots, don't they know that they have mirror's on those things?

The girls and I got up Sunday morning headed upriver about a mile or so to do some skiing before the jet skis took over, and I was turning around to pick up my daughter when all of a sudden BAM !!! the boat comes to a dead stop and it dam near jumps out of the water, I automatically start freaking out ( I had just finished up skiing in some glass, with a beautiful view of the rocks underneath me) anyway I start checking the bilge, listening for water, do a quick inspection of the bottom of the hull .......and nothing :jawdrop: it freaked us all out enough to say to hell with skiing so we went back to the beach to say goodbye to you all and nobody was up yet. So we all decided to load up the boat and head out before it got to hot (our air conditioning went out on the ride up) Here is what we saw when we got the boat back on the trailer

The best time of my trip was going out with you in the early Am ( saturday morning) and we went wakeboarding with (who was the other guy with us)? Anyway, just holding the flag sitting there in the river with not a soul on it was awesome, that was a great time!

I'll do a clean up edit and throw some intro music on it and I predict it will be around 50 to 60 minutes total after clean up.
I'll make 20 printed Dvd's for $500 total plus shipping unless someone picks them up here (Rancho Cucamonga, Ca). In theroy, all anyone would have to do to recoupe the $500 is sell all 25 vids at $20 each or charge more and sell less. Sales beyond that is cash in your pocket.
