I have a lot of respect for DCB, but it doesn't look like a lot of thought went into that design.

LIke so many others - they just blow out the front of an open bow and call it a deck boat.

Just an open bow they cut the nose out of I say it is ugly and they need to have spent ALOT more timie to build a deck boat not just toss that together...

The front deck should be slotted so you can cook dogs on it.

Just go straight to the top and get an E-ticket, you won't be unhappy with one of their boats.

No doubt!!! The little hinges on my ski locker burn the $hit out of my feet, I can't imagine having to cross that thing.

the new DCB 30 deck is very nice choice. I crawled over the plug a month or so ago. It should be getting real close to being done. I've heard you can run twin power, or a big single. MAYBE Mr DCB can post some pics of the latest progress?

DCB had request to bring something to market. They took something that already worked very well and made it a deck boat. Now it may not be the best deck boat on the market. But for the customers that own two and three DCB's that wanted a deck boat they now have a option to own yet another piece of the worlds best. But now as a open front deck boat.
Yes the entry on the front will burn the bottom the of your feet off.... The CUSTOMER that ordered this boat requested it be billet up front. Since DCB is a "Custom" builder it is what the customer wants.
Yes there is a new 30' deck coming to market very soon. Very, very nice looking boat. Should be released real soon.
Not a DCB cheerleader, just stating the facts here....... :)

I don't care if a customer wanted it or not. If I was the owner of a company, I wouldn't want to produce a product that wasn't up to the design standards I set forth.
To me, that looks like Toby's old boat in the back, and a Aftershock with some billet for the bow.. I guess it's a hybrid of sorts. :D

The billet front step believe it or not is actually cooler than the boat itself in direct sunlight. We have built 3 of these front billet steps to date, and all 3 customers have confirmed this.

Agreed...The billet platform made me scratch my head.....
The doors for the storage compartments looked terrible and thrown together.
It just seemed weird and out of place in the DCB booth. I am no hater as X Factors F29 was my favorite boat at the show.

Again, I am not a hater, as DCB's are one of my favorite boats and I feel their attention to detail is second to none. I just feel that a from the ground up new design would have been much better then just opening up the front of a walk through open bow like Boxscore's and Toby's old boat and then blinging it out with some billet.

It looks like there is about 6" of knee room in the back seat.
Could be the angle of the shot.

I thought the same thing when I saw it at the show. Maybe it was just "thrown" together for the show and after the fact they fixed all those things that were not up to par.

Wonder if the 30 SportDeck is still on track to look like this? If so, anybody interested in a 07 F29 with twin 7-10's. :D
