Hey, I know this is gonna sound real basic, but ......can anyone tell me if the front timing cover will come off one of these newer style blocks without removing the oil pan?
the lip on the bottom of the timing cover is different than the old BBC's.:) Thanks

Yes it will come off. And assuming the gasket is still fine, it will go back on. It is a little tricky, but if you angle the lip in right it will work. I put a little black rtv on mine to make sure I wouldn't leak.

Well that was never asked...LOL Yes it will just take your time and use some Black RTV. So when do I get to spill some beer in the new boat?
