Threading a bowl plug?

I for the life of me can not get the dammed bowl plug threaded ( the one that holds the oil in and fits in the nozzle)
Is there some secret to this or what? I have cleaned the threads numerous times with a wires brush and what not??:mad:

Just a question...is it the same one you took out?

No it is a new one......and I just got the dam thing in now...
Apparently you need to press on the damm thing harder than heck and thread it perfectly........Then it goes in.....
Looks like I am going to the lake after work tomorrow !!:D
