Hmm.........the boat needs to be off the trailer to enjoy the smooth water  Oh, also they passed a new law............."no cruising".......so I guess that means you should leave the turd on the trailer.

Hey Rich,
What's PCR? I just may try and head up there with ya. I did not build a boat to decorate my driveway! I only check this website occasionally, so I'll pm you with my cel #.

PCR = Putah Creek Resort, located at the northwest tip of Lake Berryessa.
Nice place, plenty of water, but a bit of a haul for you and I. Still thinking about going though - I have to see if Rich's hydro can really do 100 without being dropped out of a C-130 at 10,000 feet:D

Scott, you only have a small to window of time to witness this feat. The turd makes a brief appearance from 10- 10:30 am, and then will be found collecting dust on the trailer... As for the C-130, my "people" tell me that it won't hit a 100 without a steep climb to 25,000 ft. and then release.

I don't see the problem...........as much time as you spend on the trailer, you will fit right in.:D

Hey Bro how about hitting CFW then? LilFlattie too? The ramp side is still accessible and all the action is on that side. Unfortunately the afternoons are jet ski'd out. Hardly anyone in the cove though. Real nice water to run in if there are no WAKEboard boats crusing through:mad: . We could camp in the cove or on the other side and hang out in the cove . . . . the only problem is getting the boat out quick if there is a 2' high roller from some WBboat:mad:  . Smash has a great idea of building a temp ramp if we could just get the wood to sink, the problem is the ground is soft 30' up the bank.
Let me know bro -

Hey Guys,
I should've read this thread first. Too bad about PCR. I'm going to the CFW cove this weekend come hell or low water. I'll figure something out so our hydro bros can launch & recover. I've got some aluminum plates and other assorted crap that we can put together with tape & chewing gum and make a ramp.

Don't forget the beer, BBQ'd pears, and of course the naked chicks . . . .
I'll bring the tequila  :( :220v: :skull: :D
When you get there please call my house and let me know where you are. We'll figure out a way to launch the the hydros and fend off the po-po's:D
See you there.

Went today water was junk ran the boat anyway, wearing a helmet is a different world, You have less vision plus head mobility, and the motor noises are different

Funny how it is illegal to drive a car wearing a helmet (in CA) because it impairs your vision & hearing, yet is is required on a motorcycle. So I wonder what the law sez about my 30 mph fishing boat? Hey Rich ya'll goin to CFW in Aug with the rest of us de-generates?

Wearing a helmet at the lake as apposed to the Drags can be an issue all its own.. Although they are a must fast passes, I've seen people that after they make their pass , they slow & turn to the right or left and nearly get center punched by a boat coming up behind them.....If & when you see a helmeted driver, keep in mind that their vision & hearing from approching boats is limited..
