Looking at pics the gullwing is a V-Bottom not a TRUE FLAT OR A RUNNER BOTTOM.

Define "gullwing"! Didn't you ask this in another place? "Trip-chines" are not "gullwings", as far as bottoms go. "V bottoms with a pad" are not "gullwings". I don't recall Hondo making a "gullwing" bottom. Flat, V, runner (s), sprint, Pantera, jet hydro, top fuel flatbottom.(the big boat), hydros, cruisers. PLEASE SHOW PIX, so that I may be better informed.

I don't recall Hondo making a "gullwing" bottom.

I'm looking at a 72' Hondo listed here on ***boat that is a "chevron runner bottom"? Anyone know anything about this type of hull?:confused:

My Sister had one they bought new in the late 70's. I wouldn't call it a drag boat but did ride smooth and was a great lake boat. I don't think it was meant for much over 100mph.
