That'z a Mattox. Made ONLY for Unlimited Hydroplanes. Has an Idler gear on the side.
There are two other's made for those,.....(1) Fred Leland makes his own box and Casale has cut the gears.
And,......Yes, (2)Casale has made gear boxes for them as well, The Miller Lite All-Star, and Bob Fendler's U-19, just to name a few. Bob's Was the Only passenger Race Hydro. Could seat sponsor directly behind driver in Capsule.
Howz that to indice a Sponsor?!?!?! :)

I'm thinking something along the lines of "give me money or I will keep driving you around at 200MPH until we run out of fuel" probably works pretty good to entice money out of a lot of people riding in one of these for the first time.:D
