Sean,
We will need some work done after Summer. I will give to a shot to quote the job when we are ready. The house is in Havasu and 1550 sq feet. Not sure how much will end up as tile...maybe 80%?

Well, I have about 3 projects I want to get done, but I don't know which one I want to start with. My indecisive mind is the problem right now, but I do know that I want to have the kitchen and dining room tile removed and install all the same tile in the kitchen, dining room, living room and hall way.

Well the easy way would be to start with the kitchen, d/r, l/r and hall, possibly even the bathrooms if they are off of the hallway.

Is it real hardwood flooring or laminate. Sanding is always a possiblilty. But expensive. If you have an extra plank of your floor, you can go to lowes or home depot and find a wood puddy filler that matches your flooring. It will be in the flooring section and comes in two diff. sizes. the easiest way to install the puddy is with your finger, and then wipe it clean with a paper towel. If it is just an indent this will not work. That is just the nature of wood flooring. If it has a hole, or is splintered you can use puddy.
Hope this helps and makes sence. :D

That will work. Is it the planks that are making the noise or the subfloor?

Kitchen Counter. :) We would like to have one solid piece if possible. Nothing too fancy, maybe just Coreon (sp?). With some back splashes, what would you need to work up a quote?

Your best bet for Coreon would be to find a dealer. They offer a 6 year warrenty on most of their product if you have them install it. I can do the back splash if you wanna do something like a tumbled stone 6x6.

The planks.. The floor is only 5 or so years old but it is lookin like poopy to me. Doesn't look clean.:)

Have it sanded and refinished and when they do that, they can inject it with gel to stop the squeeking.

Just had a little done brother. Dang it!
BTW, we had some 12mm laminate installed. How durable is this stuff really? Will it resist most 'reasonable' scratching?
