I'm thinking about putting a new trailer under my 22' Schiada. I want to start shopping around and don't want to overlook any builders. Can you post names, contact info if you have it, and any comments/opinions.
If it matters I'm looking for a basic double axle trailer with a few upgrades but minimal "bling". Anywhere in SoCal is acceptable.
Thanks!
-Justin

If you want a real custom trailer not a production line trailer go to Bear Trailers in Chatsworth, He just built me one and it is some of the finest craftsmanship I have ever seen, Torsion axles, disc brakes, no bondo over welds, Just awesome!!

Our most recent boat trailer we had was a brand spanking new 2006 Extreme. I am not quite sure if yours was built on different day or somthing but I thought the welds, wiring, etc was not up to par (actually, I won't sugar coat it, it was terrible). I had to go through the whole trailer and tie up wires that were literally draging on the ground, cover exposed wire where insulation was missing, and clean the grounds just to get the brakes to work. Many of my friends have had the same issues. My cheapo Boatmate trailer that came with my Moomba Wakeboard boat seemed much nicer.
I needed a part for my Extreme. I called them no less than 7 times to even get a sales/customer service person on the phone (either, not in the office, or on another line). I will say, once I got someone they were nice and sent the part at no charge. I think they need a couple more service agents.
