I have the Garmin Legend GPS (Hand held). I went to their website and saw the cheap plastic suction mounts they have for sale. I want to mount my GPS to the car/boat but was looking for something a bit more well made/ better looking.
Does any one have any suggestions on where I could find a aftermarket mount?-thanks:)

I have the Garmin case and clip it right to the steering wheel, and run it off the 12V outlet.

It gets a little whacky on the max speed from spinning the wheel, but other than that, I like it a lot.....plus it hides away easy too. ;)

Try Panavise...they have a variety of good, solid mounts. Most portable navi units have a standard base that lets you use a variety of different mounting options.
