Is that the one built in the old WWII German Fighter factory?
There's one at that goes to the doughnut shop my hangs out at on Saturday mornings. He's got the stainless frame too.

Yeah, that's it!!! I was sorta close, goin' off memory and all. I heard the story of how it all got started a while back from the guy that owns the one out here. Very interesting.

Got a friend building one, thinks he going to piant it black:confused: The car should be together at the end of the Summer engine is a 500+ in. 427 SOHC dual quad engine w/ alum. cammer heads and a alum. Shebly block. Engine is bad to the bone.

Brian , you're good with a paintbrush :idea: . Paint your Cobra with aluminum paint :D

Funny you should mention that.....I have tested supposed "chrome paints" from both Alsa corp....and Innate.....very very expensive......and neither one worked...the alcohol based base coat actually does look exactly like chrome ...right up till you clear it....then it looks more like kinda dull polished aluminmum..... at $150 for 8oz ....and no reduction.....I asked for my money back from both companies......of course they refused....
btw....to use this stuff...you must base clear black...then sand and buff to a high gloss...before you even start using the chrome paint...
