nice looking stevens. I'm sure it would sell around here on the mississippi, but you are way over there. I just bought a 68 stevens v-drive. Do you have any other pics of the interior?

I would like to take it for a ride, never drove a flat jet before.

This isn't a hop in and drive it like ya stole it boat, it's a completely different animal. It'll take a few rides before you get used to the feeling.

I can only guess the feeling trying to turn it.
I bet it is like having a set of 20" wide slicks on ice !

That's a nice looking interior. Not much back seat room but still should make someone one sweet ride. I take it that is the stock Stevens trailer under it as mine looks pretty similar (give or take some paint, rust, and fenders). Jets are definately a neat ride over here where the river gets really shallow.

The "back seat" is a bit cramped, but perfect for coolers :D this isn't a "family" boat, it's just a fun one-of-a-kind boat to cruise in. The bench seat gives you extra room for.....

Why are you selling it already? I have been having fun watching restore it.

One word.... room. It takes me a half hour to jockey boats around before I can launch, and when it's 110 out, that gets old quick.

The T bucket left for it's new home saturday morning  The Stevens is a true flat. We won't be headed out this weekend, but I'll be at the river the week of the 20th testing, tuning, hanging out, making a general nuisance of myself. If anyone's in the Bullhead area and would like a ride, come by Lazy Harry's midweek. It's a ride like no other......

Cool boat.
How fast will it run?
Is the jet epoxied in or can you pull it out to service it?

I'm still working on the setup, but the first time out, using just the primaries on the Holley, it GPS'ed at 45.
The pump is (for the most part) a normal Berk. The intake is set in the hull, and the only real difference is that the bowl is inside the hull, not going thru the transom. The pump housing unbolts from the intake just like any other Berk, it's only the nozzle that extends from the transom. This means the intake is further forward than newer boats.
According to vintage ads, this hull has run 70, and I have no doubt it can with the right tuning and conditions. On the river, this really is a fun cruiser, not a racer.

Leaving for the shack tonight and will be on the water all week, so if anyone's interested in a test ride, come by Harry's in the afternoon.

Took the Stevens out last trip and made a few more adjustments. GPS'ed it at 51 now, and there's a lot left.
Still for sale, and am taking offers. I'd hate to have some kid buy it from Craigslist and trash it.

This is the last shot for someone to get something truly unique to play with. Trades or best offer will get it through the end of the month.
