Unfortunately I did not catch the 151 mph run on camera. If someone would have told me they were running I would have shot it. Even video too. Alas I was developing and printing pictures when the run was made....

Very funny story, too long for here, why there were not any "organized" speed runs. Needless to say those that didn't want us to have a great time were foiled. WE HAD A BLAST.
A permit has been filed with the Coast Guard to hold a shootout event at Paradise on Saturday October 13, 2007. The timed runs will be from about 2pm to 6pm. The PARADISE CUP runs will be part of the COOL RIDES / COOL CATS car / bike / truck / show what ya got show.
Static car and boat(in water) show from 8-1 at Discovery Bay Marina
Car poker run with stops in the Delta from 1-3
Cool Rides / Cool Cats awards and Paradise Cup Radar Runs 2-6 at Paradise Bar and Grill=====unique t-shirt contest===live music===shuttle available
For those bringing a car and desiring to run a boat too you can leave your boat at Paradise on Friday if you want. You guys and gals are smart you can fiqure it out.

Cars $30.00 pre registered=====Boats $50.00 (gotta pay for insurance & permit ya know)................Day of event cars are $50 and boats $100

Thanks Terry and all the Delta Crew. Los was riding shotgun running the trim and watching the speedo and for traffic. Glad we got to share those runs, he got off on it as much........no, probably more than I did!
