Well I decided to go with the 496 mag, I considered the 6.2, 496 mag, 496 H/O, so I went with the middle (496 mag w/xr)...I looked at every possibility from used to new. I came very close to buying b/retreivers beautiful 23 Lightning, but A last minute decision was to go with a new boat..Ron and Scott have a great rep. (execpt for their terrible abilty to stay on schedule !!! ha ha, just kidding wasnt their fault).
After looking at numerous boats (and even the 22' replacement co. Domn8er), I couldnt beat the great deal and reputation take Placecraft offerred. Unbelievable how much more u get with Placecraft's standard package and starting price. I even told Ron today, "Ron you need to beef up your starting price." he said "No, that wont be necessary".
After A couple of setbacks in the designing and retooling of their new 23 ft and 28 ft deck boats, seems like everything is starting to finally running smooth. And trust me, I did my homework before I decided to go with the new 23 ft sportdeck. If any of u guys are in the market for a 23, consider this one...
