It just finished rolling through at my house, and it absolutely dumped for about 20 minutes. Lots of thunder and lightning as well. Glad we got off the water when we did, because we weren't home for 15 minutes before it hit.

Came home, and a big tree in the front of our house was broken at the trunk, the AC is out, and it looks like a tornado hit the back yard.
Good thing I was drinking, I'll survey the damage in the morning.

I was hoping it was going to make it's way to BHC but it never did. We were watching the lightning show for a while and it looked like it was coming down pretty good.

We got dumped on big time here on the southside of Havasu. Lots of rain, lightning and wind! I always worry about boaters not getting off the lake in time.
We heard there was a tornado spotted up by Pilot on Hwy. 95 and 40. Anyone hear about it??

captured this one last night from my driveway. I've seen way better lightning out here in Havasu but for the first big storm of the year it was decent.

Came home to a tree down in my front yard last night. I thought the wind had knoced it down (it was broken at the trunk) until I went out to cut it up this morning. The trunk has a big burn mark at the break, so I assume it was hit by lightening. Wow, no wonder my a/c thermostat burned out.

After seeing many of your amazing shots, I can't help but wonder..........................How in THE hell do you do that?!? I'm sure you've been asked that question a few times, but, since I'm about to buy my wife a new camera (30D or D80 or something like that) I gotta get some tips:D
Do ya mind sharing a helpful hint? I'll buy ya a beer?
Good photos ya got there.
