Ya don't need a license to buy 134 or 134 A.
Even costco sells it.
Kragan has it, but their prices are crazy, but over the counter no prob.
Though, some places are running scared and want the license.

All 3 of the refrigerants listed are not regulated, but so I dont have here any more B.S. I took my test last night and I'm now certified TYPE I A/C technican so I can fock up my own A/C.

Good show.
So what is the difference between 134 and 134 a?
I have the license, but the book or the instructor didn't know either.
I am purely guessing the 134 a may have some oil in it.
Damfino.
Good ya got the license.

The lower-case letter that follows the refrigerant designation refers to the form of the molecules when different forms (isomers) are possible, with the most symmetrical form indicated by the number alone.
